Yes. Even fitting in twenty minutes of Pilates twice a week can make a difference. Hip pain? Do exercises for ten minutes twice a day and it’ll be significantly better quite quickly.
No. You will lose inches but, to lose pounds, you need to complement Pilates with cardio and strength training, eat healthy, drink lots of water, keep your immune system healthy, and lower your stress.
One group Pilates class a week is $20, which averages out to fewer than $3 a day. Would you rather spend money on Pilates to prevent an injury or thousands of dollars on specialist treatment to heal an injury you could have avoided in the first place?
